Best risk for severe storms will be in southeastern Manitoba with the main threats being flooding rains, damaging winds and large hail, and there will be a slight risk of tornadoes as well. We may see a lot of rain with this system, which I think most of us would welcome... Just not for the long weekend! :P

Behind this system, it will be MUCH MUCH colder for us. Highs will struggle to reach 20°C on Saturday, and some models such as the ECMWF show these cool/cold temperatures continuing to start next week. We will have to wait and see if that realises.

I wont be in the city this weekend, and not sure when I'm coming back. Just keep in mind tomorrow will be the last forecasts update for a few days.jjcwpghttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03353008394397372445noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5071575595521727141.post-82585825071703000102012-08-01T14:53:22.110-05:002012-08-01T14:53:22.110-05:00Isolated severe storms are possible across southwe...Isolated severe storms are possible across southwestern, western and Interlake parts of Manitoba this afternoon.
