Temperatures will remain cool for the next week with highs remaining in the single digits. We may hit 10°C Sunday, but other than that, not much in the way of double digit temperatures in the near-future. More rainfall and potentially a bit of snowfall looks likely Monday. Models hint at a warmup in about a week and a half, so don't lose hope that winter is here for good just yet!
Rain will continue to fall steadily for the rest of the evening, and for part of the overnight. It may - and likely - change to wet snow at some point overnight or early tomorrow morning, but it should not accumulate to much. Most should melt, similar to last week. Either way, looking cool for the remainder of the week, with signs of some warming up next weekend into next week. Still a bit too far to give specific temperatures, but temperatures in the mid teens, at least, are certainly in the cards.
ReplyDeleteAbout 1 to 1.5 cm of snow fell overnight, at least at my place. Now we have to deal with another unsettled day today with on and off snowsquall-type bands. Some of these will be giving some very heavy near-whiteout conditions locally with rapid accumulation. Any snow that accumulates will, for the most part, melt after the band has passed.
